All Star One Mission Statement Draft
After a draft was developed by the Executive Committee (spring, 2010) and review by the All Star One conference (2010), a revised draft was distributed for further comment to the All Star One conference email list asking for additional comments. All comments were reviewed and synthesized and the Executive Committee now presents the following draft for discussion and vote by the All Star One Chairs. If voted, the Mission statement will be presented again for discussion at the 2011 conference Town Meeting and, if further comments are received, refined again with refinements to be voted on by the chairs in 2011.
The All Star 1 Family Conference is enriched by the unique nature of Star Island and strives to support the well-being of Star Island for future generations by offering an inspirational, educational, and restorative week-long experience that affirms and celebrates a vibrant, diverse, multi-generational, caring community.
